What kinds of events does Zach perform at?
Holiday parties, client appreciation events, team celebrations, award galas, conferences, product launches, milestone celebrations, and executive dinners — across New York City, Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
What's the difference between close-up and stand-up magic?
Close-up magic happens inches away, in small groups, and works best during cocktail hour or a networking reception. Stand-up is for when you want the whole room's attention at once. Many clients book both: close-up during cocktails, then the show after dinner.
Is the show appropriate for a professional audience?
Completely. Everything is clean, clever, and built for adult professional audiences. Volunteers are made the stars of the show, never the punchline — nobody gets embarrassed.
How long does the entertainment run?
The stand-up show runs about 30 minutes. Close-up magic is typically booked in blocks of 90 minutes to 3 hours. Zach will map the entertainment to your event timeline during your consultation.
What do you need from us or the venue?
For close-up magic, nothing at all — Zach arrives and starts working the room. For the stand-up show in a larger room, a microphone and speaker, which most venues already have.
How far in advance should we book?
Zach performs over 300 shows a year, and holiday-season Fridays and Saturdays fill first. If your event is in November or December, reach out early. For other dates, a couple of months' notice usually works.
